The Market Appraisal Process, Step by Step...

1: Say Hello

Firstly, we'll talk to you, take some outline details about your home and book an appointment to meet you at the property. 

2: Do Our Research

We then carry out extensive research into comparable homes in your area, current localised market conditions and other factors affecting the value of your property, so we can arrive at your home fully prepared.

3: Say Hello (in Person)

We then visit you at the property to really understand what’s on offer.  Appointments usually last around an hour, in which time we will have a thorough look over the home, the grounds and we will discuss with you (generally over a nice cup of tea!) as a potential vendor the priorities and motivations for coming on the market.  We will use our many years of experience to offer advice and guidance on how to enhance your property to enable us to command the highest price possible.

4: The Crunch

Our family run business is a people business, not a numbers game, but we will give you a figure on the day of the valuation.  We will carefully consider our prior research, the position and condition of the property and your motivation as a vendor, to propose a figure to you that you are happy with as a vendor and that we are confident with as your agent.

5: Transparency

We explain our terms and conditions in full and answer any questions, and then leave you to make your own decision.  No hounding or chasing – we will wait for you to contact us.
